| Why dive in Alabama? Without doubt, Pelham, AL features one of the best freshwater dive sites close to Atlanta. In less than 2.5 hours from now, you could be on the dock prepping for a dive. This former quarry filled overnight when workers exposed a spring many years ago. For this reason, the water quality is exceptional for a freshwater dive site. As instructors, we love this place because it provides the ability to teach a wide variety of courses, ranging from Open Water all the way through Divemaster. Students love it because there are lots of things to see and do. Additionally, the facility is well maintained by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. |
